Introduction
Welcome to TA Posh. We are an interior design and furniture brand dedicated to creating thoughtfully curated furniture collections and designing spaces that feel personal, functional and considered.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, including browsing our collections, purchasing furniture and home accessories, submitting enquiries, booking consultations and engaging our interior design services.
In these Terms, "TA Posh", "we", "our" or "us" refers to the business operating the TA Posh brand. "You" or "Customer" refers to anyone accessing our website, purchasing our products or engaging our services.
By using our website, placing an order or booking a service, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.
These Terms should be read alongside any applicable Privacy Policy, Returns and Refund Policy, Delivery Policy, product descriptions, consultation booking conditions and individual project agreements.
Eligibility and account use
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to make purchases or engage our services. If you are under 18, you may only use our purchasing and booking services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Where our website allows you to create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and keep your account details secure.
- Provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information.
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Do not use another person's payment details without authorisation.
We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised activity, abuse of our website or a violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
Products and product information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, materials, finishes, colours and photographs displayed on our website are accurate.
However, you acknowledge that:
- Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, device settings, lighting and display technology.
- Natural materials such as wood, stone, leather and fabrics may have variations in grain, texture, tone and finish.
- Product photography may include styling accessories, decorative objects or other items that are not included in the purchase unless expressly stated.
- Product dimensions and specifications should be reviewed carefully before ordering.
Any material difference between the advertised product and the product supplied will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions, specifications and listings. If an error materially affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you to discuss an appropriate resolution.
Product availability is subject to stock levels and supplier availability. Displaying a product on our website does not guarantee that it is immediately available for purchase.
Orders and payments
When you place an order through our website, you are submitting a request to purchase the selected products. An automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
An order will be treated as accepted when we confirm acceptance through an order confirmation or other written communication.
Before completing your purchase, please review:
- The selected products and quantities.
- Product descriptions, sizes, materials and finishes.
- The applicable price and any additional charges.
- Your delivery address and contact information.
- The estimated delivery or fulfilment timeframe, where provided.
All prices will be displayed in the applicable currency stated on the website. Any applicable delivery, installation, taxes or additional charges will be disclosed before you complete your purchase.
We may use authorised third-party payment processors to facilitate transactions. By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
TA Posh does not intentionally store complete payment card details on its website. Payment processing may be subject to the terms, security procedures and privacy practices of the relevant payment provider.
We will not be responsible for payment failures caused by your bank, card issuer or an independent payment provider, but we will make reasonable efforts to assist with transaction enquiries.
If we identify a genuine pricing, stock or technical error before accepting an order, we may contact you to confirm the correct details or cancel the affected order and arrange a refund of any amount paid, as appropriate.
Delivery, collection and installation
Delivery arrangements, estimated timelines, applicable fees and available delivery locations will be communicated during checkout or through a separate written agreement.
Any delivery timeframe displayed on our website or communicated to you is an estimate unless expressly confirmed as a guaranteed date in writing.
You agree to:
- Provide a complete and accurate delivery address.
- Ensure someone authorised is available to receive the order.
- Provide reasonable access to the delivery location.
- Inform us in advance about access restrictions, narrow staircases, lifts, parking limitations or other relevant conditions.
- Ensure the delivery space is reasonably prepared to receive the furniture.
Additional charges may apply where special equipment, additional labour, restricted access arrangements or rescheduling are required. Such charges must be communicated before the additional service is carried out.
If delivery is delayed due to circumstances within our control, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you and provide an updated timeframe.
Any issue involving missing items, visible damage or incorrect products should be reported to us as soon as reasonably possible, with photographs or other relevant evidence where available. This does not remove or restrict any statutory rights you may have.
Risk in products will pass to you in accordance with applicable law and the agreed delivery arrangements. Nothing in these Terms transfers responsibility for goods to you before the law permits it.
Returns, refunds and cancellations
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Returns, exchanges, refunds and order cancellations will be handled in accordance with our applicable Returns and Refund Policy and Nigerian consumer protection laws.
You may have statutory rights to return goods, obtain a repair, replacement or refund where the goods are defective, unsafe, incorrectly described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal standards.
Where you wish to cancel an order or return an item because you have changed your mind, the applicable return conditions, reasonable cancellation charges and any relevant exclusions will be communicated in our Returns and Refund Policy and at the point of purchase.
For advance bookings and reservations, cancellation rights and any reasonable charges will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Where a return is requested, we may ask for reasonable supporting information, including:
- Your order number or proof of purchase.
- Photographs or videos showing the reported issue.
- A description of the problem and when it was discovered.
- Any relevant delivery or installation documentation.
Refunds, where approved or legally required, will generally be processed through the original payment method where reasonably possible. Processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Nothing in this section limits a consumer's rights or remedies under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act or any other applicable law.
Custom-made and bespoke furniture
Certain furniture products may be made to order, personalised or manufactured according to specifications agreed with you.
Before confirming a custom order, we may request your approval of relevant details, including:
- Dimensions and measurements.
- Materials, fabrics and finishes.
- Colour selections and design references.
- Product configuration and functional specifications.
- Quoted price and payment arrangements.
- Estimated production and delivery timelines.
You are responsible for ensuring that measurements and specifications supplied by you are accurate. Where TA Posh undertakes measurements, the agreed scope of that service will determine the applicable responsibilities.
Natural material variations and reasonable manufacturing tolerances may occur. These do not automatically constitute defects where the product remains consistent with the agreed specifications and applicable quality standards.
Once production has commenced, changes to approved specifications may not be possible or may result in additional costs and revised timelines. We will communicate any proposed additional costs for your approval before proceeding.
Cancellation charges for custom orders, where applicable, must be reasonable, disclosed in advance and consistent with applicable consumer protection law. They do not remove remedies available for defective or non-conforming products.
Consultations and design services
TA Posh may offer consultations, discovery calls, interior design assessments and other professional design-related services through its website.
By submitting a consultation booking, you agree to provide accurate information about yourself, your space, your requirements and your preferred appointment time.
A consultation booking is confirmed only when we provide confirmation through the relevant booking system or written communication.
Depending on the consultation type, the service may include:
- Initial discussions about your design requirements.
- Understanding your preferred style, budget and functional needs.
- Preliminary recommendations and design direction.
- Discussion of potential project scope and next steps.
- Recommendations on furniture, materials and spatial planning.
Unless expressly included in the consultation description or a separate agreement, a consultation does not automatically include detailed architectural drawings, construction documentation, technical specifications, 3D renders, procurement or project implementation.
Consultation fees, payment requirements, appointment duration, format, rescheduling conditions and cancellation arrangements will be communicated before booking.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us through the designated booking channel. Any applicable cancellation or rescheduling charges will be subject to the conditions disclosed when you booked and applicable law.
We will make reasonable efforts to attend scheduled consultations. If we need to reschedule, we will notify you and offer an alternative appointment or an appropriate refund where applicable.
A consultation does not create an obligation on either party to enter into a full interior design or implementation contract.
Interior design projects
Larger interior design, renovation, furnishing and implementation engagements may require a separate written proposal, quotation or project agreement.
Where applicable, the project agreement will set out:
- The agreed project scope and deliverables.
- Design concepts, drawings and visual presentations to be supplied.
- Project fees, deposits, milestones and payment schedules.
- Procurement and material specifications.
- Expected project commencement and completion timelines.
- Revision allowances and charges for additional work.
- Client responsibilities and access requirements.
- Installation, handover and completion procedures.
- Applicable warranties, defects procedures and aftercare.
- Project suspension, variation and termination conditions.
Only deliverables expressly included in the agreed project scope will form part of our contractual obligations.
Any additional work, design changes, material substitutions or scope variations must be agreed in writing before they are implemented. Additional costs and timeline adjustments will be communicated for approval.
You agree to provide timely feedback, approvals, access to the relevant premises and information reasonably required for the project.
Delays caused by late approvals, changes in scope, restricted site access, unavailable materials or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect project timelines. We will communicate material delays and their expected impact.
You remain responsible for obtaining any property-owner approvals, landlord permissions, building permissions or other consents that are legally required for the project, unless obtaining them is expressly included in our agreed scope.
Where a project involves construction, structural work, electrical installations, plumbing or other regulated technical activities, the appropriate qualified professionals and regulatory approvals must be engaged as required by law.
The terms of a signed project agreement will govern the specific engagement. Where there is a conflict between these general Terms and a project agreement, the project agreement will prevail for that engagement, subject always to applicable law.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all content displayed on the TA Posh website is owned by or licensed to TA Posh. This includes:
- Brand names, logos and visual identities.
- Product photographs and collection imagery.
- Website layouts, graphics and written content.
- Design concepts, presentations and creative materials.
- Other original materials published by TA Posh.
You may browse and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or publicly republish our content without our prior written permission or other lawful authorisation.
Design concepts, drawings, mood boards, renders and other creative work prepared for a client remain subject to the intellectual property arrangements set out in the applicable project agreement.
Payment for design services does not automatically transfer ownership of all underlying intellectual property rights unless expressly agreed in writing.
You retain ownership of materials you independently own and provide to us. By submitting photographs, references or other content for a project, you grant us permission to use those materials to the extent reasonably necessary to deliver the requested services.
We will not treat a customer's private project information as permission to publish their home, identity or project details in our marketing materials. Separate permission will be obtained where required.

You agree to use the TA Posh website responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws.
You must not:
- Use the website for fraudulent, unlawful or deceptive activities.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or accounts.

- Submit false orders, misleading enquiries or fraudulent bookings.
- Use our website in a way that infringes another person's rights.
We may take reasonable steps to protect the security, availability and integrity of our website, including restricting access where necessary.
Privacy and personal information
We collect and process personal information when you browse our website, create an account, place an order, submit an enquiry or book a consultation.
This information may include your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery details, transaction references, appointment details and information about your design requirements.
Where relevant, we may also receive photographs, videos, measurements, property details and other information relating to spaces you ask us to design or furnish.
We use personal information for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Processing and fulfilling orders.
- Managing payments and transaction records.
- Scheduling and conducting consultations.
- Communicating about projects and customer enquiries.
- Improving our website and customer experience.
- Meeting applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
We may share relevant information with service providers such as payment processors, delivery partners, hosting providers and other suppliers where reasonably necessary to operate our business.
We will handle personal information in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable data protection requirements.
For further information about what we collect, how we use it, how long we retain it and how you may exercise your data protection rights, please read our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of the information governing your use of the website but does not replace these Terms.
Third-party services and links
Our website may contain links to external websites, platforms or services operated by third parties. These may include payment providers, social media platforms, delivery services and other business partners.
We do not control the content, security, availability or privacy practices of independent third-party websites. Accessing them is at your discretion and subject to their own terms and policies.
The inclusion of an external link does not necessarily mean that TA Posh endorses the linked organisation, its products or its services.
Liability and disclaimers
We aim to maintain a reliable website and provide products and services that meet applicable standards. However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption or that every technical issue can be prevented.
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including failures of independent telecommunications networks, third-party platforms or financial institutions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability arising from fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, negligence where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, defective products or breaches of statutory consumer rights.
We do not guarantee that any particular design outcome, property value, commercial result or personal preference will be achieved unless expressly agreed as a specific contractual deliverable.
Where permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated when the relevant agreement was entered into.
Nothing in this section removes any remedy that you are legally entitled to receive.
Events beyond our control
We will not be considered in breach of these Terms merely because an obligation is delayed or prevented by an event beyond our reasonable control, provided that applicable legal obligations are respected.
Such events may include natural disasters, flooding, fire, public emergencies, government restrictions, civil unrest, industrial action, significant supply chain disruptions and widespread infrastructure failures.
Where such an event materially affects an order or project, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, explain the impact and discuss practical next steps.
Complaints and dispute resolution
We encourage customers to contact us first if they experience an issue with a product, delivery, consultation or interior design engagement.
When submitting a complaint, please include your order reference or booking details, a description of the issue and any relevant supporting information.
We will make reasonable efforts to acknowledge, investigate and resolve complaints within a reasonable timeframe.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, either party may pursue the remedies available under applicable Nigerian law, including appropriate consumer protection or judicial processes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising their right to approach the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or another competent regulatory authority.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business operations, website features, products, services or applicable legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
Where a change materially affects an existing order, booking or project, we will communicate the change where required by law or the relevant agreement.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or remedies that have already accrued to you.
